Uncle Rob's jobs

Uncle Rob came back for a week after his time in Nyangombe and carried on with some jobs (see March blogs). He finished putting together the cupboards in the guest house kitchen, assembled bedroom cabinets (which the children varnished) and completed the bike shed. He had time to give some more guitar lessons too.

Sunday singing

On Sunday night we had singing in the chota. Uncle Ian was joined on the guitar by uncle Rob.

Chingola show

Last weekend the Chingola District Agricultural Show was held at the Gymkhana show ground, so the children were taken to see. Local agricultural societies and co-operatives were present exhibiting their produce and groups performed to the local dignitaries. It was quite a small show compared to Kitwe and one of the boys commented later 'at least it was an afternoon out'!

Kelvin, Bartholomew and Asham celebrated their birthdays in April.
